Scope

This standard specifies the methods for the determination of conventional nutritional components in compound feeds for experimental animals, that is, the determination methods for water, crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, crude ash, calcium, and total phosphorus in compound feeds. This standard is applicable to the determination of moisture, crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, crude ash, calcium and total phosphorus in the compound feed of experimental animals mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, dogs and monkeys and their raw materials .
