《GB/T 15042-2008灯用附件 放电灯（管形荧光灯除外）用镇流器 性能要求》由TC224（全国照明电器标准化技术委员会）归口，TC224SC1（全国照明电器标准化技术委员会电光源及其附件分会）执行，主管部门为中国轻工业联合会。
本标准规定了高压汞灯、低压钠灯、高压钠灯和金属卤化物灯等放电灯用镇流器的性能要求。第12章～第15章对特定类型的镇流器均规定了具体要求。本标准所论述的是使用50Hz或60Hz、1000V以下交流电源的电感式放电灯用镇流器，灯的额定功率、尺寸及特性均应符合相应IEC的灯标准的规定。
Scope
This standard specifies the performance requirements of ballasts for discharge lamps such as high-pressure mercury lamps, low-pressure sodium lamps, high-pressure sodium lamps and metal halide lamps. Chapters 12 to 15 specify specific requirements for specific types of ballasts. This standard discusses ballasts for inductive discharge lamps using 50Hz or 60Hz AC power below 1000V. The rated power, size and characteristics of the lamps are in compliance with the corresponding IEC lamp standards.
