《GB/T 15129-1994信息处理系统 开放系统互连 服务约定》由TC28（全国信息技术标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准给出的术语和约定供定义开放系统互连参考模型（GB9387）中规定的面向连接或无连接方式（N）服务的服务定义标准引用。特别给出了与点对点连接（即参考模型某层内点对点通信的实例）有关的约定。本标准的适用范围限于满足网络层、运输层和会话层的急需。如果适合，也可用于其他层。
Scope
The terms and conventions given in this standard are referenced by service definition standards for connection-oriented or connectionless (N) services specified in the Open Systems Interconnection Reference Model (GB9387). In particular, conventions related to point-to-point connections (ie instances of point-to-point communication within a layer of the reference model) are given. The scope of this standard is limited to meet the immediate needs of the network layer, transport layer and session layer. Can also be used for other layers if appropriate. Contracts for other types of (N) services, and broader topics related to the semantic models used by (N) services are for further study.
