Scope
This standard specifies the basic terms of automation technology used in the manufacturing industry mainly in the electromechanical field. This standard applies to production, engineering, scientific research and education departments related to automation technology. This standard describes five categories of terminology in manufacturing automation: "general term", "technical information system", "management information system", "manufacturing automation system" and "communication and network".
