《GB/T 15376-2008木工机床 普通车床 术语和精度》由TC84（全国木工机床与刀具标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国机械工业联合会。
本标准代替GB/T 15376-1994《普通木工车床 精度》 本标准规定了普通木工车床各部分的术语，同时参照GB/T 17421.1-1998,规定了机床的几何精度检验，并给定了相应的公差，适用于一般用途、普通精度的机床。
本标准只规定了机床的几何精度检验，不适用于机床的运转试验，也不适用于机床的特性检验，这些检验一般宜在机床的几何精度检验前进行。
本标准与GB/T 15376-1994相比有如下差异：
――修改了标准名称；
――增加了术语；
――删除了工作精度检验

Scope

This standard specifies the terminology of each part of ordinary woodworking lathes (hereinafter referred to as machine tools). This standard only stipulates the geometric accuracy inspection of machine tools, and is not applicable to the operation test of machine tools (such as vibration, abnormal noise, crawling of parts, etc.), nor is it applicable to the characteristic inspection of machine tools (such as speed, feed rate, etc.) , these inspections should generally be carried out before the geometric accuracy inspection of the machine tool. This standard does not make rigid regulations on the inspection of the working accuracy of machine tools, which should be stipulated separately in the prior agreement between the user and the manufacturer.
