Scope

WARNING: Personnel using this standard should have practical experience in formal laboratory work. This standard does not address all possible safety issues. It is the user's responsibility to take appropriate safety and health measures and ensure compliance with the conditions stipulated in the relevant national laws and regulations. This standard specifies the method for determining the amount of cobalt in cobalt ore by atomic absorption spectrophotometry after acid dissolution or alkali fusion separation to prepare an acidic solution. This standard applies to the determination of the amount of cobalt in cobalt ore. Measuring range: 0.05% to 2.0% cobalt.
