本标准规定了适用于可编程序控制器及其有关外围设备的工作条件、结构特性、一般安全性及试验的一般要求。本标准规定了可编程序控制器及其有关外围设备在装置要求及测试验证方面的定义。规定了可编程序控制器及有关外围设备适应受控机械或过程所必须进行的试验方法和步骤。规定了PC制造厂需要提供的资料。本标准适用于可编程序控制器及其有关的外围设备(如编程和调试工具(PADT)，试验装置(TE)和人-机接口(MMIS)等)。适用于可编程序控制器及其有关的外围设备组成的控制系统。本标准覆盖的装置适用于过电压类型2，在额定电网供电电压不超过1 000V(AC)(50/60Hz)或1 500V(DC)的用于机械或工业过程控制和普通的低电压设施中。

Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for working conditions, structural characteristics, general safety and tests applicable to programmable logic controllers and their related peripheral equipment. This standard specifies the definition of programmable logic controller and its related peripheral equipment in terms of device requirements and test verification. It specifies the test methods and procedures necessary for programmable logic controllers and related peripheral equipment to adapt to controlled machinery or processes.
