Scope

This standard specifies the classification and FTSC codes of commonly used bottled gases. This standard applies to compressed gas (also known as permanent gas), low-temperature liquefied gas (cryogenic type), liquefied gas and dissolved gas filled in cylinders. This standard does not apply to adsorbed gases.
