This document is drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for standardization—Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents.

This document replaces GB/T 16623-2008 Technical specification of press-on solid tyres. In addition to structural adjustment and editorial changes, the following main technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 16623-2008:

——The application scope is modified (see Clause 1 hereof; Clause 1 of Edition 2008);

——The term “steel ring” is added and “no marking solid tyres” is deleted (see 3.1 hereof; 3.1 of Edition 2008);

——The physical and mechanical property indexes are modified (see Table 1 hereof; Table 1 of Edition 2008);

——The durability requirements and test methods are modified (see 4.3 and 5.4 hereof; 4.3 and 5.4 of Edition 2008);

——Some requirements for the fitting size of tyres and rims are modified (see Annex A hereof; Annex D of Edition 2008);

——Some requirements for the measurement method of the peripheral dimension and the physical and mechanical property test method are modified (see Annexes B and C hereof; Annexes A and B of Edition 2008);

——The durability test method is deleted (see Annex C of Edition 2008).


Technical specification of pressed-on solid tyres

1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods and markings of pressed-on solid tyres.

This document is applicable to new pressed-on solid tyres used for counterbalanced fork lift trucks and other industrial vehicles.

3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 6326 and the following apply.

4 Technical requirements

4.1 The tyre specification, size, speed and load shall meet the requirements of GB/T 16622. The rims and the fitting size requirements of tyres and rims shall meet the requirements of Annex A.
