Scope

This part of GB/T 16656 details the interpretation of general resources defining the basic boundary representation model. The following contents belong to the scope of this part of GB/T 16656: ——The definition of elementary_brep-shape-representation (; basic boundary expression shape expression). It is an expression consisting of one or more manifold_solid_breps (manifold solid boundary expressions), each manifold_solid_brep is defined using basic geometry and complete explicit topology; Unbounded geometric definition of curves and surfaces in the surface definition of B-rep (boundary representation solid model); ——8—definition of topological structure of rep model; ——3D (three-dimensional) geometry; ——Brep (boundary representation solid model ); ——Elementary curves belonging to straight lines or quadratic curves; ——elementary_surface (basic surface); ——Geometric transformation; ——Polyline (polyline); ——Unbounded geometry; ——Topological application of boundary geometric entities. The following contents do not belong to the scope of this part of GB/T 16656: - 2D (two-dimensional) geometry; - Bounded curves other than polylines; - Bounded surfaces; - Offset curves and offset surfaces.
