Scope

This standard specifies the airborne sound insulation performance classification and testing methods of doors for buildings. This standard applies to the airborne sound insulation performance classification and testing of architectural doors made of any material. It is also applicable to the sound insulation performance testing of other types of doors with sound insulation requirements.
