《GB/T 16992-2008飞机维护及其安全警告标志》由519（中国航空工业集团公司）归口，主管部门为中国航空工业集团公司。
本标准代替ＧＢ／Ｔ１６９９２―１９９７《飞机维护及其安全警告标志》。本标准规定了飞机上使用的维护及其安全警告标志，适用于各种类型的民用飞机。本标准规定的标志以国际通用和易于识别为原则，为飞机地面作业提供方便，并为保障维护安全提出警告。本标准修改采用ＩＳＯ１９５０：１９７４《飞机维护、保养、地面搬运与安全／危险点标记》。在技术内容上与该标准无差异，为便于理解和实施，增加图样示例，并按我国标准编写规定编写。 本标准与ＧＢ／Ｔ１６９９２―１９９７相比主要变化如下：

Scope

This standard specifies the maintenance and safety warning signs (excluding simple text signs) used on aircraft, and is applicable to various types of civil aircraft. Due to the different sizes and distributions of aircraft maintenance points, the requirements of this standard can be flexibly implemented when this standard is adopted. The markings specified in this standard are based on the principles of international universality and easy identification, which provide convenience for aircraft ground operations and provide warnings for ensuring maintenance safety.
