《GB/T 17179.4-2000信息技术提供无连接方式网络服务的协议第4部分:由提供OSI数据链路服务的子网提供低层服务》由TC28（全国信息技术标准化技术委员会）归口，TC28SC6（全国信息技术标准化技术委员会数据通信分会）执行，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准规定了由子网通过依赖于子网的收敛功能(SNDCF）的操作提供低层服务的方法。

Scope

This standard specifies the method for providing low-level services by a subnetwork that provides OSI data link services defined in GB/T 17547 through the operation of the subnetwork-dependent convergence function (SNDCF). It is envisaged in the agreement defined in GB/T 17179.1, and SNDCF is stipulated in GB/T 15274. This standard also provides the PICS form of this agreement, which complies with the relevant guidelines given in GB/T 17178.1.
