Scope

WARNING: Personnel using this standard should have practical experience in formal laboratory work. This standard does not address all possible safety issues. It is the user's responsibility to take appropriate safety and health measures and ensure compliance with the conditions stipulated in the relevant national laws and regulations. This part of GB/T 17416 specifies the method for determining the amount of zirconium and hafnium in zirconium ore by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. This standard applies to zirconium ores, and also to the determination of zirconium and hafnium in ores of other rare metals. Measuring range: 0.0016%~8.7% (mass fraction) zirconium content; 0.0034%~3.0% hafnium content.
