This part of GB/T 17416 specifies the method for determining the amount of zirconium and hafnium in zirconium ore by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. This standard applies to zirconium ores, and also to the determination of zirconium and hafnium in ores of other rare metals. Measuring range: 0.0016%～8.7% (mass fraction) zirconium content; 0.0034%～3.0% hafnium content.
