Scope
This standard specifies the parameters of CD recordings that affect the interchangeability between records and turntables, and may also be referenced by manufacturers wishing to produce records and/or turntables in accordance with the system described in this standard. This standard applies to pre-recorded optical reflective digital record systems, including CD records with a diameter of 120 mm and 80 mm.
