《GB/T 17599-1998防护服用织物 防热性能 抗熔融金属滴冲击性能的测定》由TC209（全国纺织品标准化技术委员会）归口，TC209SC7（全国纺织品标准化技术委员会产业用纺织品分会）执行，主管部门为中国纺织工业联合会。
本标准规定了防护服用织物受金属熔滴冲击的防热性能的测定方法。本标准适用于各种防熔融金属飞溅物灼伤人体的织物以及复合织物。此方法可用于对比相同条件下各种织物的防热性能差异。本标准不适用于测定较大体积的熔融金属的影响，不能预测防护服在其他工业条件下的防热性能。

Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of the heat resistance performance of protective clothing fabrics impacted by metal droplets. This standard applies to various fabrics and composite fabrics that can prevent the body from being burned by molten metal splashes. This method can be used to compare the heat protection performance differences of various fabrics under the same conditions. This standard is not suitable for determining the effects of larger volumes of molten metal and cannot predict the thermal performance of protective clothing under other industrial conditions.
