Scope
This standard specifies the test methods for acid and lye resistance of geotechnical materials and related products. This standard applies to all geotextiles and related products. Note: This standard only considers the situation that all samples are immersed in acid and alkali liquids. For cases outside the scope of the standard, the test conditions can be modified to meet the requirements of the special application. This method is also applicable to samples pretreated by certain methods, such as samples that have been weathered, water extracted, or damaged during installation.
