Introduction
In-depth interpretation of GB/T 17641—2017 standard
GB/T 17641—2017 Geosynthetics Split Film Woven Geotextile is a national standard of the People's Republic of China, which aims to standardize the product classification, specifications and codes, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage and transportation, and marking of split film woven geotextiles. This article will conduct an in-depth analysis from the aspects of standard revision background, technical evolution analysis, interpretation of core clauses, etc., and provide implementation suggestions.
I. Background and significance of standard formulation
GB/T 17641—2017 replaces the original GB/T 17641—1998, and mainly revise the technical requirements and test methods of split film woven geotextiles. With the widespread application of geosynthetics in water conservancy projects, road engineering and other fields, the industry has put forward higher requirements for product performance. This standard revision introduced a number of new testing standards (such as GB/T 31899 and GB/T4666) and optimized product specifications and technical indicators.
II. Analysis of Technological Evolution
| Project | Old standard (GB/T 17641—1998) | New standard (GB/T 17641—2017) |
|---|---|---|
| Product specification | Warp breaking strength | Nominal breaking strength |
| Technical indicator adjustment | Unit area mass, warp and weft breaking strength | Unit area mass deviation rate, new requirements for acid and alkali resistance, antioxidant performance, etc. |
III. Interpretation of core clauses and application cases
1. Product classification and specification code
Split film yarn woven geotextiles are divided into polypropylene, polyethylene, etc. according to raw materials, and their code is SWG-PP-80-4 (as shown in the example). Nominal breaking strength is the core indicator, reflecting the tensile properties of the material.
2. Technical requirements and test methods
Table 1 Basic Technical Requirements specifies key indicators such as warp and weft breaking strength, bursting strength, and unit area mass deviation rate in detail. For example, a product with a nominal breaking strength of 80 kN/m must have a tearing strength of more than 0.86 kN in the warp and weft directions.
3. Inspection rules and judgment standards
Inspection rules include batch regulations, sampling methods, and result judgments. The internal quality must meet the requirements of Table 1, and the appearance quality must control the number of minor defects and the occurrence of major defects.
IV. Implementation Suggestions
Selection Guide:Choose products with appropriate nominal breaking strength according to project requirements, and refer to GB/T 15788 for tensile performance testing. At the same time, pay attention to acid and alkali resistance and antioxidant properties to ensure the stability of materials in harsh environments.
V. Standard Implementation Suggestions
- Selection and Procurement:Match the nominal breaking strength according to project requirements, and refer to the test method for quality verification.
- Quality Control:Establish an internal quality control system to ensure that the product meets the requirements of Table 1.
- Maintenance and Storage:Store and transport according to the provisions of 7.2 of the standard, avoid damage and moisture, and check product quality regularly.
