1 Scope

This standard specifies the designation, product name, technical requirements and inspection methods of down and feather; determines the principles of packing, marking, storage and transportation, etc.; and defines the terms and definitions associated to down and feather.
This standard is applicable to the production, processing and trading of the unwashed and washed down and feather.
