Scope

Within the basic scope described in GB/T 17971.1, this part of GB/T 17971 specifies the functional areas of the keyboard and the division of functional areas. At the same time, it also stipulates the arrangement of functional partitions, the numbering and positioning of keys, and the assignment of functions to keys. The functions assigned to keys by other parts of this standard are defined in their respective parts.
