Scope
The chain transmission selection guidance method provided by this standard is applicable to the chain transmission for industrial use consisting of chains and sprockets conforming to GB/T 1243. The chain drive selection procedure specified in this standard and the rated power of the roller chain are applicable to the roller chain drive specified in 9.1, 9.2 and Chapter 10, and the expected service life of the chain drive is 15000h. Due to the different changes in load characteristics, environmental conditions and maintenance of chain drives, users of this standard should consult the suppliers of chains and sprockets to ensure that the performance of the product can meet the requirements of users and this standard.
