本标准规定了室内和户外使用的符合IEC 60917和IEC 60297标准的机柜、机架、插箱和机箱的机械试验、气候试验和安全要求。它仅全部或部分地适用于按照IEC 60917和IEC 60297设计的电子设备机械结构，而不适用于电子设备或系统。本标准的目的是保证机柜、机架、插箱和机箱的物理完整性，考虑了不同应用中不同性能等级的需要。它试图让用户在选择设备以满足其特定的需要时比较有把握。

Scope

This standard specifies the mechanical test, climatic test and safety requirements for cabinets, racks, subracks and enclosures in accordance with IEC 60917 and IEC 60297 for indoor and outdoor use. It only applies in whole or in part to the mechanical structure of electronic equipment designed in accordance with IEC 60917 and IEC 60297, and does not apply to electronic equipment or systems. The purpose of this standard is to ensure the physical integrity of cabinets, racks, subracks and enclosures, taking into account the need for different performance levels in different applications. It attempts to give the user some confidence in choosing a device to meet his specific needs.
