Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels, packaging, transportation and storage of fishing ropes. This standard applies to the following fishing ropes:
　——three-strand polyamide rope with a nominal diameter of 4 mm ~ 72 mm, four-strand polyamide rope with a nominal diameter of 10 mm ~ 72 mm, and a nominal diameter of 12 mm ~ 72 mm Eight-strand and twelve-strand polyurethane braided ropes;
