Scope
This part of GB/T 18778 specifies the evaluation method for determining parameters based on the linear characteristics of the support rate curve (also known as the Abbott curve). The curve describes the increase in surface material fraction as the depth of the roughness profile increases. This section is suitable for evaluating the working performance of surfaces subjected to high mechanical stress.
