《GB/T 18801-2008空气净化器》由TC46（全国家用电器标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国轻工业联合会。
本标准规定了空气净化器的术语和定义、分类、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于单相额定电压220V、三相额定电压380V家用和类似用途的空气净化器。
本标准也适用于在公共场所由非专业人员使用的空气净化器。
本标准不适用于：
―――专为汽车用途而设计的空气净化器；
―――专为工业用途而设计的空气净化器；
―――在经常产生腐蚀性和爆炸性气体（如粉尘、蒸气和瓦斯气体）特殊环境场所使用的空气净化器；
―――具有医疗用途的空气净化器。

1 Scope
This standard specifies terms & definitions, classification, technical requirements, testing methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packing, transport and storage of air cleaners.
This standard is applicable to air cleaner with single-phase rated voltage 220V or three-phase rated voltage 380V for household and similar uses, and it is also applicable to air cleaners used by non-professional in public places.
The new standard is not applicable to:
―Air cleaners special for automobile purpose;
―Air cleaners special for industrial purpose;
―Air cleaners used in the specific environment places where corrosive and explosion gases (like dust, vapor and gasses) are generated often;
―Air cleaners for medical purpose.
