《GB/T 18838.1-2002涂覆涂料前钢材表面处理 喷射清理用金属磨料的技术要求 导则和分类》由TC5（全国涂料和颜料标准化技术委员会）归口，TC5SC6（全国涂料和颜料标准化技术委员会涂漆前金属表面处理及涂漆工艺分会）执行，主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
GB/T 18838的本部分规定了涂覆涂料前钢材表面喷射清理用的金属磨料的分类和标记等。本部分适用于未经使用过的金属磨料的标记。
Scope
This part of GB/T 18838 specifies the classification and marking of metal abrasives (hereinafter referred to as metal abrasives) used for blast cleaning steel surfaces before coating. This section applies to the marking of unused metal abrasives. Note 1: Although this part of ISO 11124 was developed specifically to meet the requirements for the preparation of steel components, the characteristics specified are also generally applicable to surfaces and components of other materials treated by blast cleaning techniques. These techniques have been specified in IS0 8504-2:2000 ((Methods of Surface Preparation of Steel Surfaces Before Application of Paint Part 2: Abrasive Blasting Cleaning).
