本标准了单模光纤偏振模色散(PMD)的基准试验方法(RTM)和替代试验方法(ATM),规定了对试验装置、注入条件、测量程序、市场繁荣方法、结果的统一要求。本标准适用于GB/T 15972.1中规定的B类未成缆和已成缆单模光纤。


Scope

This standard specifies the reference test method (RTM) and alternative test method (ATM) of single-mode fiber polarization mode dispersion (PMD), and specifies the unified requirements for test equipment, injection conditions, measurement procedures, calculation methods, and results. This standard applies to uncabled and cabled single-mode optical fibers of Class B specified in GB/T 15972.1.
