Scope

This part of GB/T 19216 specifies the test procedures and performance requirements for optical cables to maintain circuit integrity under flame conditions, including the recommended fire supply time. This part specifies the sample preparation method, the continuity check device, the optical test procedure and the method of burning the optical cable, and gives the requirements for evaluating the test results.
