Scope
This part provides requirements for the minimum performance parameters, test procedures and marking methods of bow spring casing centralizers for the oil and gas industry. The test methods provide for verification of the manufacturer's design, material and workmanship specifications and for periodic testing to ensure consistency of product performance parameters. This section does not apply to rigid or solid centralizers.
