《GB/T 20173-2013石油天然气工业 管道输送系统 管道阀门》由TC96（全国石油钻采设备和工具标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准规定了石油天然气工业领域管道系统用球阀、止回阀、闸阀和旋塞阀的设计、制造、试验和文件等方面的要求。
本标准适用于石油天然气工业领域管道系统，满足GB/T24259《石油天然气工业　管道输送系统》要求的球阀、止回阀、闸阀和旋塞阀。
本标准不适用于海底管道阀门。本标准不适用于额定压力值超过PN 420(Class 2500)的阀门。
附录A提供的订购指南有助于买方确定阀门的类型和确定阀门的特殊要求。

1 Scope

This standard specifies requirements for the design, manufacturing, testing and documentation of ball, check, gate and plug valves for application in pipeline systems for the petroleum and natural gas industries.
This standard is applicable to ball, check, gate and plug valves for application in pipeline system meeting the requirements of GB/T 24259 Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries - Pipeline Transportation Systems for the petroleum and natural gas industries.
This standard is not applicable to subsea pipeline valve. This standard is not applicable to valves for pressure ratings exceeding PN 420 (Class 2500).
Annex A provides the order guide which is contibuted for the purchaser to determine the valves type and special requirements for the valves.
