Scope
This standard specifies the measurement methods for reel-to-reel tapes with a bandwidth of 6.30mm and cassette tapes with a bandwidth of 3.81mm and magnetic recorders and players. This standard applies to reel-to-reel tapes with a bandwidth of 6.30mm and cassette magnetic recorders with a bandwidth of 3.81mm. This standard does not apply to special recorders, such as modulation recorders and high-speed duplicators.
