《GB/T 20479-2006沙尘暴天气监测规范》由TC345（全国气象防灾减灾标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国气象局。
本标准规定了沙尘暴天气监测的工作任务、监测项目、监测方法、操作技术规范、数据记录与资料的存档、质量控制和保证，以及与沙尘暴数值预报有关的内容。本标准适用于在固定站点开展沙尘暴天气监测工作以及与之联系的沙尘暴数值预报工作，利用其他方式和观测平台开展沙尘暴天气监测工作可参照执行。

Scope

This standard specifies the tasks, monitoring items, monitoring methods, operating technical specifications, data records and data archiving, quality control and assurance, and content related to sandstorm numerical forecasting for sandstorm weather monitoring. This standard is applicable to the monitoring of sandstorm weather at fixed stations and the numerical forecasting of sandstorm weather associated with it. The use of other methods and observation platforms to carry out sandstorm weather monitoring work can be implemented as a reference.
