《GB/T 20975.4-2008铝及铝合金化学分析方法第4部分：铁含量的测定邻二氮杂菲分光光度法》由TC243（全国有色金属标准化技术委员会）归口，TC243SC1（全国有色金属标准化技术委员会轻金属分会）执行，主管部门为中国有色金属工业协会。
本部分规定了铝及铝合金中铁含量的测定方法。本部分适用于铝及铝合金中铁含量的测定。测定范围：0.001%~3.50%。本部分代替ＧＢ／Ｔ６９８７．４―２００１《铝及铝合金化学分析方法　邻二氮杂菲分光光度法测定铁量》。
本部分与ＧＢ／Ｔ６９８７．４―２００１相比主要变化如下：
―――增加了“重复性”和“质量保证与控制”条款；
―――根据重复性限试验的结果将＞０．００５０％～０．００７５％的允许差由０．０００７％调整为０．００１０％；将＞０．００７５％～０．０１００％的允许差由０．００１０％调整为０．００１５％。
