本标准规定了在ISO 179-1、ISO 180和ISO 8256中分别描述的塑料简支梁冲击试验、悬臂梁冲击试验和拉伸冲击试验所使用的摆锤冲击试验机的检验方法。本标准只涉及摆锤式试验机。在冲击试样过程中所吸收的冲击能量W(见2.12)等于摆锤的势能E(见2.11)与冲击试样后摆锤的剩余能量之差。考虑摩擦和空气阻力的损失(见表2和4.6),对冲击能量进行修正。本标准描述的方法是关于试验机各部分几何和物理性能的检验方法。有些几何性能在装配好的试验机上难以进行检验,因此由制造者负责这些性能的检验,并且在试验机上提供能够按本标准进行检验的参考平面。这些方法在试验机安装时、修理时、移动后或进行周期检验时予以应用。本标准适用于具有第4章规定的几何和物理性能的各种容量和(或)类型的摆锤式冲击试验机。按本标准检验合格的摆锤冲击试验机适用于对各种类型的有缺口和无缺口试样进行冲击试验。
Scope
This standard specifies the test methods for pendulum impact testing machines used in Charpy, Izod and tensile impact tests of plastics as described in ISO 179-1, ISO 180 and ISO 8256, respectively. This standard only deals with pendulum testing machines. The impact energy W (see 2.13) absorbed during the impact on the specimen is equal to the difference between the potential energy E (see 2.12) of the pendulum and the remaining energy of the pendulum after impacting the specimen. The impact energy is corrected to account for frictional and air resistance losses (see Tables 2 and 4.6). The methods described in this standard are related to the inspection methods of the geometric and physical properties of each part of the testing machine. Some geometric properties are difficult to check on the assembled testing machine, so the manufacturer is responsible for checking these properties and providing a reference plane on the testing machine that can be checked according to this standard. These methods are applied when the testing machine is installed, repaired, moved, or periodically inspected. This standard applies to pendulum impact testing machines of various capacities and/or types having the geometrical and physical properties specified in Clause 4.
