Introduction


The National Standardization Administration of China has published a new standard, GB/T 21476-2024, which will come into effect on February 1st, 2025. This standard is entitled "Fire Test Bench Requirements for Non-metallic Hose Assemblies and Compensators in Ships and Marine Technology". It aims to provide detailed specifications for the testing of non-metallic hose assemblies and compensators used in marine environments with respect to their fire resistance characteristics.
