本标准规定了船舶与海上设施充气橡胶靠球的材质、尺寸、技术要求、试验方法及检验规则和标志。本标准适用于船舶与海上设施停泊或锚泊等舷部防护使用的靠球的设计、制造与验收。 本标准修改采用ＩＳＯ１７３５７：２００２《船舶与海上技术 高压浮式充气橡胶靠球》（英文版）。
本标准根据ＩＳＯ１７３５７：２００２重新起草。
Scope
This standard specifies the material, size, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs of inflatable rubber balls for ships and offshore installations (hereinafter referred to as balls). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of balls used for side protection of ships and offshore installations such as berthing or anchoring. This standard does not involve safety in use. Users should formulate corresponding use safety measures as a supplement to this standard.
