1 Scope

This standard specifies the potassium iodate titration method after combustion in the pipe furnace for the determination of sulfur content.
This standard is applicable to the determination of 0.0030%(m/m)~0.20%(m/m) sulfur content in iron, steel, high temperature alloy and precious alloy.
