1 Scope

This standard specifies the gravimetric method after combustion in the pipe furnace for the determination of carbon content.
This standard is applicable to determination of 0.10% (m/m) ~5.00 % (m/m) carbon content in iron, steel, high temperature alloy and precious alloy.
