《GB/T 22357-2008土方机械 机械挖掘机 术语》由TC334（全国土方机械标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国机械工业联合会。
本标准代替ＧＢ／Ｔ６５７２．２―１９８６《挖掘机名词术语　机械式》。 本标准规定了自行的履带式和轮胎式机械挖掘机及其工作装置／附属装置的术语。机械挖掘机主要用于牵引、挖掘、抓取及临时吊装作业。机械挖掘机的主机在钻孔、打桩等特殊应用中，常被用作工作装置／附属装置的载体，这些工作装置／附属装置的尺寸规格不在本标准范围之内。 本标准与ＧＢ／Ｔ６５７２．２―１９８６相比，主要变化如下：
―――标准名称“挖掘机名词术语　机械式”改为“土方机械　机械挖掘机　术语”；
―――增加了“前言”；
―――调整了有关的术语名称及定义，第３章增加了３项术语，删除了１项术语；
―――增加了附录Ａ“主机的尺寸”，调整了主机的尺寸与符号的定义，并增加了有关的术语条目及定义；
―――增加了附录Ｂ“工作装置／附属装置的尺寸”，调整了工作装置／附属装置的尺寸与符号的定义，并增加了有关的术语条目及定义。

Scope

This standard specifies the terminology of self-propelled crawler and tire mechanical excavators and their working devices/attachments. Mechanical excavators are mainly used for traction, excavation, grabbing and temporary lifting operations. The main engine of a mechanical excavator is often used as a carrier for working devices/attachments in special applications such as drilling and piling. The dimensions and specifications of these working devices/attachments are not within the scope of this standard.
