本标准等同采用ISO 3623：1994《摄影―――加工用化学品―――无水碳酸钾规范》（英文版）。
本标准等同翻译ISO 3623：1994。
本标准规定了照相级化学品无水碳酸钾的纯度要求及测试纯度的试验方法。
为了便于使用，本标准做了如下编辑性修改：
―――“本国际标准”或“ISO 3623”改为“本标准”；
―――用小数点“．”代替作为小数点的逗号“，”；
―――删除ISO 3623：1994的前言、引言；
―――将第2章“规范性引用文件”所列国际标准用等同翻译的国家标准代替。
