This standard, designated as GB/T 23356-2024, was jointly released by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, National Health Commission, and State Administration for Market Regulation on October 26, 2024. It is scheduled to come into effect from May 1, 2025. The standard outlines a method for determining carbon monoxide in cigarette smoke using non-dispersive infrared technology.
