Implementation suggestions
The following points should be noted in actual application:
- The selection of the appropriate steel pipe type (straight pipe, U-shaped pipe or serpentine pipe) should be based on the specific equipment requirements and installation environment.
- The wall thickness calculation of the curved pipe part must be strictly carried out according to the formula
S_f = (4r S_min) / (4r + D). - Special attention should be paid to the requirements of intergranular corrosion for austenitic stainless steel pipes. It is recommended to conduct the E method test.
- When calculating the hydraulic test pressure, the units of D and S must be unified (mm) to avoid calculation errors.
