Scope
This standard specifies the method of representation of information on goods and persons related to sea, road and rail transport. This International Standard is applicable to the implementation of databases and data warehouses which enable the sharing of data between different actors in the transport process. The purpose of defining a data dictionary is to allow data related to basic definitions to be mapped to multiple events of data in industry and government databases.
