1 Scope

This part of GB/T 25127 specifies the terms and definitions, type and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of low ambient temperature air source motor-driven heat pump (water chilling) packages for household and similar application (hereinafter referred to as "packages").
This part is applicable to heat pump (water chilling) packages with air as the heat (cool) source and cooling capacity not greater than 50kW as well as that can prepare hot water at the ambient temperature not less than -20℃; other similar packages may also refer to the provisions of this part.

3 Terms and Definitions

For purposes of this part, the terms and definitions established in JB/T 7249 as well as the following ones apply.
3.1
Lower ambient temperature air source heat pump (water chilling) packages
The heat pump (water chilling) packages that can prepare hot water at the ambient temperature not less than -20℃ with motor-driven vapor compression cooling cycle and air as the heat (cool) source.
3.2
Coefficient of performance [COP (COPh, COPc)]
The ratio of the packages heating (cooling) capacity to the general input electric power in the same unit under the nominal conditions specified in Table 1.
3.3
Integrated part load value (IPLV)
The part load efficiency index of hot (cool) water packages for air conditioning expressed by a single value, which is calculated via Formulae (1) and (2) based on the part load performance coefficient value under part load condition specified in Table 2 according to the weight factor of operating time under specific load of packages.
Integrated part load value for heating [IPLV(H)]:
(1)
Integrated part load value for cooling [IPLV(C)]:
(2)
Where,
A0(A1)—COPc (COPh) in case of 100% load, in kW/kW;
B0(B1)—COPc (COPh) in case of 75% load, in kW/kW;
C0(C1)—COPc (COPh) in case of 50% load, in kW/kW;
D0(D1)—COPc (COPh) in case of 25% load, in kW/kW.
Note 1: calculation of part load percentage is based on nominal cooling (heating) capacity.
Note 2: IPLV represents the mean operation condition of single packages, but may not represent a specific engineering installation example.
Note 3: calculation of IPLV(H) takes Beijing as the typical city and IPLV(H) of other typical cities refer to Appendix A of "Low Ambient Temperature Air Source Heat Pump (Water Chilling) Packages—Part 1: Heat Pump (Water Chilling) Packages for Industrial & Commercial and Similar Application" (GB/T 25127.1-2010).
3.4
Continuous heating cycle
A complete process of heating and defrosting from the beginning of last heating (end of defrosting) to the end of this defrosting in the heating operation mode.
