Scope
This part of GB/T 25444 specifies the requirements for electrical installations of mobile and fixed offshore installations, applicable to drilling, production, processing and storage in the offshore oil industry, including pipelines, pumping stations or "pigging" stations, compressor stations and exposed single buoy moorings. This section applies to all electrical installations with AC voltage not greater than 35000V and DC voltage not greater than 1500V, permanent, temporary, mobile or hand-held. This section does not apply to fixed medical equipment or electrical installations of tankers.
