Scope
This standard specifies the test methods for lateral stability of heavy-duty commercial vehicle trains, trains composed of trucks and center axle trailers, and articulated passenger cars. This standard is applicable to trucks and trailers with a total mass of more than 3.5t, and articulated buses with a total mass of more than 5t, that is, N2, N3, O3 according to GB/T 15089 , O4 and M3 category cars. The driving operation specified in the test method does not fully represent the real driving conditions, but it is helpful to evaluate the lateral stability of heavy-duty vehicle trains.
