Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural forms, models and parameters, technical requirements, materials, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, and storage of eccentric hemispherical valves. This standard applies to gray cast iron and ductile iron hemispherical valves with nominal pressure PN2.5-PN25 and nominal size DN40-DN2000; carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel hemispherical valves with nominal pressure PN2.5-PN100 and nominal size DN40-DN2000.
