Introduction
Background of Standard Revision and Technological Evolution
As an alternative version of GB/T 26231-2010, this standard has the following major technical changes:
- Added OID Branch Application Procedure and Resolution Service Application Procedure
- Reconstructed the OID numbering system and added important field branches (smart manufacturing, smart cities, etc.)
- Optimized the registration process and added a separate application path for digital OID

The national OID tree contains two major branch nodes:

Key implementation process
1. OID registration process
- Submit an electronic application through www.china-oid.org.cn
- Mail paper materials (including organizational certification documents)
- The registration agency will complete the review within 10 working days
- Alphanumeric OIDs require a 20-day public display period
2. Branch authorization
- API interface compatibility certification is required
- The service scope is limited to the application field
- The authorization period is agreed upon through the cooperation agreement
