Scope

This standard specifies the commonly used terms and their definitions in the field of biometric identification related to human identification, excluding morphological special terms, so as to standardize the use of terms in this field. This standard is applicable to the branch fields of biometric identification technologies, such as biometric identification systems, interfaces, equipment and applications, as well as interoperability and data exchange in various fields and related systems.
