Scope
This standard is applicable to the trace amount of 1,4-dioxane (1,4- Dioxane) determination. 1,4-dioxane (1,4-dioxane) contained in personal care products containing such surfactants can also be determined by referring to the method determined in this standard. This standard is applicable to the determination of samples containing not less than 5mg/kg 1,4-dioxane (using hydrogen flame ionization detector) or 2.5mg/kg 1,4-dioxane (using mass selective detector), When the 1,4-dioxane content exceeds 100mg/kg, it is necessary to increase the concentration of the standard solution or to dilute or reduce the determination of the slurry sample.
